  Team Sports and Recreation

Team Sports and Recreation:

Athletics play a key role in a child’s development. They teach children to follow rules, take turns, win and lose, develop discipline, compete, and advocate for themselves. Participation in sports provides opportunities to work together as a team, develop camaraderie and feel a sense of belonging. Our programs provide trained mentors to assist children with special needs and are designed to provide a noncompetitive and supportive environment that accommodates children of all ability levels. Please contact us at mvtpec@aol.com with questions, suggestions, or to volunteer your time or assistance with these programs.

Mentors: If you would like to sign up for these programs, click here.

Parents: Recreation programs may be canceled due to rain or inclement weather. If the weather is questionable, please call our hotline, 973-856-9587, for a message that will let you know if the program scheduled for that day will be taking place.
