Include Me!
Pathways' Lead Mentor testified before the NJ
State Board of Education in January,
spoke to the
State Special Education Advisory Council in
March,
and met with Education Commissioner Brett
Schundler in June on the
need for “authentic” inclusion in communities
and schools.
Read their testimony.
They
designed and
wore yellow “Include ME!” t-shirts,
which have become their trademark. They are
raising awareness for inclusion in New Jersey
by selling these shirts to help build programs
that include children with disabilities.
We are asking people
everywhere to join our initiative by
purchasing a shirt to help support inclusion
and bring a brighter and more accepting future
for everyone.
Proceeds from t-shirt sales will be used by
Pathways to build more inclusive programs for
children.

walk for inclusion was held at Montville Township
Community Park. Over 260 people attended,
wearing yellow Include ME! t-shirts
and
enjoying games, activities, music, food and festivities.
